2 NOTORIOUS DRUG PEDDLERS APPREHENDED WITH NARCOTICS

DODA POLICE APPREHENDED TWO NOTORIOUS DRUG PEDDLERS WITH NARCOTICS FROM DODA TOWN 

Continuing its war to eradicate the drug menace from the society, Doda Police has arrested two notorious drug Peddlers with Narcotics from their possession.  

 While giving details it was told that a Police party of Police  Post DH Doda laid a Naka on Bharat Road and while conducting checking/frisking of Vehicles/pedestrians ,  intercepted one vehicle WagonR bearing  Registration No. JK06A/3499 for checking purpose. On enquiry, the  the driver disclosed his name as shadab Ishaq son of  Mohd  Ishaq wani resident  of Ghat Doda and during his personal search,  heroin  like substance (chitta) was recovered from his possession. Similarly his associate who was also travelling in the said wagonR vehicle disclosed his name as Farooq Ahmed son of  Mohd Sabar resident of Sekwan Doda, was also searched and  heroin  like substance (Chitta) was also recovered from his possession. 

       Upon this a case FIR No. 249/2022 under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation of the case has been started.
      
  Doda Police is appealing to the general public to extend co-operation to Police and provide inputs/information if any clue of drugs smuggling is noticed so that menace of drug is eradicated from the society.
