3 GRS Terminated In J-K's Doda

*DDC Doda terminate services of 3 GRSs for dismal performance and long absence* 

Doda, November 25; District Development Commissioner's office recieved a written report from Assistant Commissioner Development Doda vide his letter No. ACDD/MGNREGA/SS/2022-23/19555-59 Dated 14/11/2022, wherein it was reported that three Gram Rozgar Sahayiks have not performed their legitimate duties satisfactorily and they remained unauthorisedly absent from duties for a long time.

 DDC Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan, taking cognizance of the matter has issued termination order with immediate effect of the said GRSs, today. Assistant Commissioner Development Doda (Additional District
Programme Co-ordinator, MGNREGA) has reported that the Block Development Officers concerned have recommended the termination of the above Gram Rozgar Sahayiks for dismal performance and long absence.
The three GRSs in who's favour termination order has been issued by DDC Doda are Surjit Singh from Block Dali Udhyanpur, Varsha Kotwal from Thathri Block and Yasir Hussain from Bhaderwah Block.

It is important to mention here that GRS is engaged under MGNREGA, for effective implementation of the scheme. It is temporary engagement  linked with the successful implementation of the MGNREGA in the panchayat and  their temporary services can be discontinued without assigning any reason by the competent authority.
