 Distributes Land Pass Books; Meets farmers; Inspects Jan Abhiyaan Camps.

Doda, October 20:- Commissioner/ Secretary   Revenue, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, visited Doda, on his two days tour to assess the achievement under Developmental Deliverables and review the overall working of Revenue department in the district.

During his tour he Distributed Land Pass Books among farmers, interacted with them and also inspected the revenue camps under Jan Abhiyaan in Doda.

 He  also met with Patwar Association and ensured that their genuine demands shall be taken care of. 

Commissioner/ Secretary    made a round of all the offices and sections of DC office complex. He also inspected revenue courts and offices. He took a meeting of revenue officers here in the conference hall and directed them to ensure 100% achievement under Developmental Deliverables during Jan Abhiyaan. 

He took a detailed review of recent initiatives including "Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani” Land Records Information System, Survey of Villages Abadi and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas (SVAMITVA) besides digitalization of land records.

Commissioner/ Secretary also took stock of progress on encroachment drives, demarcation of Government land, inspection of revenue records, progress on digitization of Jamabandis/ Girdawari, missing Land Record, status of Patwar Khanas and other vital issues.

He instructed revenue officers to ensure that all the land owners get Land Pass books by the end of ongoing Jan Abhiyaan.

Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan, ADC Doda Dr R K Bharti, ACR Doda Ashfaq Khanji and other revenue official remained present during the program. On the second day of his tour interacted with Revenue Officials at Bhaderwah Sub District.

 ADC Bhadarwah Chowdhary Dil Mir, ADC Doda Dr R K Bharti, Tehsildar Bhaderwah Showkat Matto and other officials accompanied him during the inspection  of the established camps where he distributed land passbooks among the land holders, and took stock of revenue services and public grievances redressal mechanism. 

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Secretary, appreciated the revenue officials for their tireless efforts in digitization and other revenue related matters. 
He also directed the revenue officers and officials to add new mutations in digitisation record for maintaining the authenticity and updation of record.

He stressed on generating intensive awareness regarding Apki Zameen Apki Nigrani. He directed the concerned to ensure time bound disposal of CLU cases. He also instructed to intensify anti encroachment drives in the district.
