MVD Doda Team Cracks Down on Traffic Violations in Early Morning Drive on NH244.

Doda, August 19: In a determined effort to ensure road safety and enforce traffic regulations, the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Doda Team initiated an enforcement drive on NH244 during the early morning hours. This operation involved the thorough inspection of more than 150 vehicles, with a focus on verifying essential documents and ensuring adherence to traffic rules. 

During the course of this extensive inspection, 45 vehicles were issued challans for various violations, additionally 8 vehicles faced compounding penalties, amounting to a total on-the-spot fine collection of Rs 10,000. The primary objective of this operation was to curb overloading in vehicles and discourage overspeeding or rash driving within the area, thus minimizing the risk of potential accidents. Furthermore, drivers were sensitized to the importance of operating only roadworthy vehicles on this route.

This enforcement drive signifies the MVD Doda Team's commitment to ensuring safer roads and a more compliant driving culture in the region.
