DC Doda reviews implementation of JJM

 Ex Ens & Engineers down the line to submit tour-calender by tomorrow; DC will visit JJM works daily on 5pm virtually  

Doda, April 09: Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Mahajan, who is also Chairman of District Water and Sanitation Mission (DWSM) Doda under Jal Jeevan Mission, today reviewed the implementation of Jal Jevan Mission in the District. A meeting in this regard was convened in the conference hall of DC office complex Doda. Some out stationed officers joined virtually.

All the Engineers of Jal Shakti department Doda have been asked to send their tour-calender to their work sites by tomorrow evening. DC has informed that he will personally visit virtually JJM works daily at 5pm.

All the AEEs have been instructed to visit concerned DFOs concerned tomorrow and settle the issues for smooth completion of Water Supply Schemes going through the forest areas. DC has emphasized the adherence of timelines fixed for all the projects under JJM and ensure that the prestigious JJM projects are timely completed and citizens are provided with safe drinking, tapped water in their homes as envisaged in the scheme.

 It was  emphasised that all the JJM works must be completed by the end of June this year. 

The DC was informed that out of 185 tendered projects under JJM, 150 projects have been alloted, for 09 works LOI has been issued, and on 137 projects, work on the ground is ongoing. 

The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda, CPO Doda, SE Jal Shakti, Ex Ens of JSD/ Irrigation/ Ground Water/ Mechanical, DFO Doda/ Bhaderwah/ Batote, AEEs, AEs, and JEs of JSD and other concerned officials
