*DLTC proposes SoF of all Agricultural Crops for the year 2023-24* 

Doda, November 22: Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan, today chaired a District Level Technical Committee (DLTC) meeting to propose the Scale of Finance (SoF) for the year 2023-24 (Kharif & Rabi) for all Agricultural crops including Horticulture Crops, Animal / Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries at DC office Doda. Chief Agriculture Officer Doda Anil Gupta, who is also Member Secretary of the committee presented the draft of proposal. Vital issues regarding issues and need for revision of the existing scale of finance of different Agriculture, Horticulture Crops including Animal and Sheep Husbandry were discussed for Kissan Credit Card (KCC) holders of Doda district. The committee unanimously proposed for 7% increase on existing scale.

DC emphasised on propagation of composite Agricultural practices in unison with all the departments dealing with Agricultural and alied activities in the District. He stressed on  shifting to high denisity and improved variety of crops and Horticultural plants.
He desired that technical know-how and hand holding be extended to the farmers of the district to enhance and double the farmer's income. 

Among others, ADC Doda Dr R K Bharti, CAO Doda Anil Gupta ( Member Secretary of the committee), CHO Doda, CAHO Doda, DSHO Doda, LDM Doda, AD Floriculture, Managing Director, Jammu Central Cooperative Bank (Convener of the Committee), and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
