DODA POLICE APPREHENDED TWO NOTORIOUS DRUG PEDDLERS FROM BHADERWAH TOWN WITH HEROIN AND CASH

DODA POLICE APPREHENDED TWO NOTORIOUS DRUG PEDDLERS FROM BHADERWAH TOWN WITH HEROIN AND CASH. 

     Continuing its efforts under operation “SANJEEVANI” a Police Party from Police Station Bhaderwah led by PSI Avinash Khajuria while on Naka duty at Domail Bhaderwah  observed suspicious movement of two pedestrians coming from Doda towards Bhaderwah. On seeing police party they tried to flee from the spot. But the Police party acted swiftly, apprehended them and during checking/frisking heroin like substance along with cash Rs. 19,000/= was recovered from their possession. On inquiry, the accused persons revealed their name 1-Adil Hussain S/O Tariq Hussain R/O Chinote, Bhaderwah and  2-Majid Mukhtyar S/O Mukhtyar Ahmed R/O Chakka Bhaderwah.

           In this connection, case FIR No.150/2022 U/S 8/21 NDPS act has been registered at PS Bhaderwah and investigation of the case has been started. 
     
     It is worthwhile to mention here that Doda Police has continued its war against the drug peddling and so far number of drug peddlers including notorious /main suppliers have been booked to eradicate the menace of drug from the society.
