*DODA POLICE ORGANIZED PROGRAM UNDER “NASHA MUKT ABHIYAAN*  

In order to educate and refrain the youth from the use of narcotic substances,  Doda Police organized a program at Hambel Marmat under the banner of  “NASHA MUKT ABHIYAAN” . The program was organized under the guidance of SSP Doda Sh  Abdul Qayoom JKPS, where Addl. SP Hqrs Doda Sh Master Popsy JKPS was the chief guest. This was the first event of month long program  “NASHA MUKT ABHIYAAN”  chalked out by District Police Doda .  The program was attended by about 70-80 peoples of the area including members of PRIs  of the area. Main objective of the program was to reach out to masses and spread awareness about the impact of drug abuse not only individuals but on the society.  People of the area appreciated the steps of Doda Police to curb the menace of drug abuse from the society.  Addl. SP Hqrs Doda stressed upon the participants to provide the information of drug users and suppliers to Police for taking immediate action under law and it was also asked to identify the drug user so that they could be sent to de-adduction centers for counseling   and their rehabilitation.
