DODA POLICE WORKED OUT THEFT CASE WITH IN  (24)HRS, THIEVES  ARRESTED AND GOVT. STOLEN PROPERTY RECOVERED.
             
Doda Police said that it has worked out a theft case involving Govt. stolen property within (24) hrs after registration of FIR. While giving details, it said that a complaint was lodged  by  one   employee of NHIDCL namely Harjot Singh  at Police Post Khellani regarding  dismantling  and theft of Crash barriers installed on Khellani –Goha road  of Doda. In this connection, case FIR No. 50/2024 U/S 379/IPC was registered at PS Doda and the investigation of the case was started. 

Acting swiftly on the complaint, a Police team headed by PSI Shubam Sharma  IC PP Khellani swung into action and after getting some clues through reliable sources and  technical lead, the Police team rounded up four suspects who during questioning confessed their involvement and on their disclosure (27) crash barriers were recovered within ( 24) hours  and seized in the case.The stolen crash barriers had concealed the thieves in thick vegetation in Khellani area. One Alto Car bearing regd. No. PB69C-8514 used by the thieves during the commission of crime has also been seized in the case. Further investigation is going on and more recoveries are expected from the arrested thieves in other theft case of the area.
