Doda Civil Society Pays Floral Tribute to Late Niamatullah Tak

The Doda Civil Society organized a solemn floral tribute programme in memory of Late Niamatullah Tak, a renowned personality of Doda who passed away on 13th August 2025 after a prolonged illness at the age of 71 years. The event was held at Chenab Valley HSS Doda and was presided over by Mr. Shoket Ali Mughal. The gathering witnessed the presence of prominent citizens including Mr. Abdul Qayoom Zargar, Mr Ghulam Hassan Tak, family members of the deceased, and other distinguished participants.

The programme commenced with the recitation of Quranic verses and special prayers for the departed soul led by Moulana Hafiz Abdul Rehman Lone. 

Delivering the welcome address, Mr. Naseer Ahmed Khora highlighted the life and contributions of Late Niamatullah Tak. Several speakers including Mr. Niaz Ahmed Rahi, Mr. Gh. Hassan Pampori, Mr. Mehboob Ahmed Tak, Mr. Ab. Qayoom Zargar, and Mr. Ishtiaq Ahmed Dev also paid rich tributes, recalling his invaluable services to society.

In his presidential address, Mr. Shoket Ali Mughal shed light on the exemplary life and legacy of Late Tak Sahab, describing him as a guiding force and a source of inspiration for generations to come.

Adding an emotional touch to the gathering, Ms. Mahnoor Niear Tak, granddaughter of the deceased, remembered her grandfather with heartfelt words, recalling his affection, wisdom, and contributions towards the community.

The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Mr Faizan A Tramboo.

Towards the conclusion, the organizers presented a posthumous letter of honor to the bereaved family as a token of love and respect for Late Niamatullah Tak.

The event concluded with prayers for the eternal peace of the departed soul and strength to the family to bear the irreparable loss.
