GMC Doda celebrated India's inaugural National Space Day

GMC Doda celebrated India's inaugural National Space Day on August 23, 2024, honoring significant achievements in space exploration, particularly the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Under the leadership of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Bahl, the event, themed "Touching Lives While Touching the Moon," featured lectures for MBBS students.

Prof. Bahl emphasized "The Importance of Aviation Medicine," while Dr. Garima Charak discussed "Careers in Space and Aeromedicine." Dr. Kiran Sharma shared insights on "Space Science Research and Technology," and Dr. Saqib Gul focused on "Importance of Space Physiology." Medical student Jaffar Firdous addressed "Aeromedicine Hazards." Dr. Himanshu moderated the event, which inspired attendees to embrace exploration and innovation in medicine and space science.
