LAYING OF WATER PIPE LINE AT RIFLEMAN SURAJ PRAKASH MEMORIAL GOVERNMENT MIDDLE SCHOOL AT VILLAGE BANJER UNDER OPERATION SADHBHAVANA
Indian Army, Doda established and inaugurated a 700 meter long water pipe line at Rifleman Suraj Prakash Memorial Government Middle School at village Banjer on 11 Nov 22 under Operation Sadhbhavana. The school was in dire need of drinking water facility for the students for which a request was made to the Indian Army. The water supply scheme will provide fresh and clean water to the students of the school and as well as to the villagers. The inauguration ceremony also hosted the felicitation of Veer Nari Smt Sanjeeta Devi wło Martyr Rifleman Suraj Prakash, Shaurya Chakra as well as a Badminton sports kit for the development of sports infra at the school in line with 'Khelo India' initiative.
2 The School and locals were facing difficulties in getting clean drinking water due to non-existent supply line to the school. The locals and school principal expressed the requirement to Commanding Officer, 10 Rashtriya Rifles (RAJPUT) and Indian Army responded promptly to the requirement by initiating the 700 meter long water pipe line at Rifleman Suraj Prakash Memorial Government Middle School at village Banjer. The children, parents and teachers expressed their heartiest gratitude for the effort of the Indian Army in the development of the region.
