Labour Deptt. Conducts an awareness programme for BOC workers in Doda

Doda, July 10: An awareness programme was organized by Labour and Employment department at Doda for Building and other Construction (BOC) workers.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Idress Lone, JKAS Assistant Labour Commissioner Doda made aware the Participants about the welfare schemes being run by the JKBOCWWB. Further the Chief Guest Ms. Roopali Gandotra, Assistant Labour Commissioner JKBOCWWB speaking on the occasion briefed the participants about the welfare schemes of JKBOCWWB at present in vogue and those to be incorporate from the next financial year viz increase in the rate of scholarship for various classes, special scholarship for the wards of Registered BOC workers who secure 90% and  above marks re-induction of marriage assistance, beside the chief guest has asked the construction workers to get themselves registered and to avail the benefits of the welfare schemes for betterment of their live hood. The function was also attended by staff of labour and employment department.
