DODA POLICE APPREHENDED A DRUG PEDDLER WITH NARCOTICS IN THATHRI AREA OF DODA
     
Continuing its war to tighten the noose of drug peddlers, Doda Police apprehended a drug peddler in Thathri area of Doda with narcotics from his possession. 

 While giving details Doda Police said that it was learnt through reliable sources at PS Thathri that one person namely Harnam Singh son of Duni Chand resident of village Chilly Pain Tehsil Chilly Pingal A/P Thathri is a drug peddler and was in possession of charas like substance which was being taken by him for selling to local youth of the area. Soon after the receipt of information police swung into action and a police party of PS Thathri apprehended the said drug peddler at Tippri Morh Thathri and recovered charas like substance from his possession in the presence of Executive Magistrate Class 1st Thathri.  

In this connection, case FIR No.103/2023 under relevant sections was  registered at PS Thathri and investigation of the case has been started.  Doda Police is appealing the general public to come forward with any information regarding drug peddling in their neighborhood and cooperate with the Police, provide information /inputs if any drug peddler is noticed so that stringent action is taken against such elements /black traders and menace of drug is eradicated from the District.
