*DC Doda discusses Multi Storey Car Parking project with Shopkeepers and other stakeholders.* 

Doda, September 28; Keeping in view of the land constraints and ever-increasing vehicular traffic in the Doda town, a multi storey car parking at already existing Bus Stand Doda was conceived by the administration which has now been approved by the government at an estimated cost of 32.46 crores. The said Multi Storey Car Parking shall cater the need of Bus Stand as well as parking of other commercial and private vehicles. The project has provision of new shops also.

Before inviting tenders for the said Multi Storey Car Parking and formal execution of work, Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan called a meeting of all the shopkeepers and traders of Bus Stand Doda in the conference hall of DC office complex, and discussed the project with them. It was informed that existing shops at Bus Stand shall not be disturbed, traffic shall be duly regulated and due care/ measures shall be taken to minimise the effects on the business of traders during the construction of the project.

Shopkeepers and traders appreciated the concern of District administration and extended their full cooperation in bringing up the Multi Storey Car Parking. The traders requested the administration for the fast track execution of the project to reduce the inconvenience caused during the execution. DC assured them that the timelines shall be strictly followed and the project shall be completed in given time.

The meeting was attended by SSP Doda, ADC Doda, SE PWD, ACR Doda, Dy Director Employment Doda, DIO DIPR Doda, ARTO Doda, Tehsildar Doda, Tehsildar Headquarter, Dy SP traffic  Doda, Ex En PWD, EO MC  Doda and all the shopkeepers and traders of New Bus stand Doda.
