DODA POLICE APPREHENDED TWO DRUG PEDDLERS WITH NARCOTICS AT PREMNAGAR THATHRI 

 In a  statement  issued by Doda Police, it was told that a Police  Party of  Police Post Prem-Nagar Thathri  while on Naka/Patrolling duty  at  Parnote observed suspicious  movement  of  two pedestrians. The Police party apprehended them and recovered narcotic substance from their possession.  On inquiry the accused persons disclosed their names as (1) Payar Singh son of  Mega Ram resident of Belna Judhpur and (2) Reyaz Ahmed son of  Nasrullah Bhatt resident of  Chuteri Phagsoo (Thathri).
 
  In this connection, case FIR No. 108/2022 under relevant sections has been registered in Police Station Thathri and investigation of the case has been set into motion. 

     Doda Police appeal the general public to cooperate the Police and provide inputs so that stringent action could be taken against the drug peddlers and menace of drug is eradicated from the District. In place to mention here that this year Doda Policle under OPERATION SANJEEVNI has registered (37) FIRs against (42) persons. Moreover, (03) notorious drug peddlers have been detailed under PSA and (32) habitual drug peddlers have been taken into preventive custody.
