DODA POLICE BOOKED THREE HABITUAL DRUG PEDDLERS UNDER PREVENTIVE DETENTION AND LODGED IN DISTRICT JAIL BHADERWAH

Continuing its drive to tighten the noose of drug peddlers, Doda Police has booked three more notorious drug peddlers of Bhaderwah and lodged them in District Jail Bhaderwah  under preventive detention.  

  While giving details, Police said that a number of complaints were being received at Police Station Bhaderwah that three youth namely (1) Jahingir Ahmd  son of Mohd Ahsan resident of Village Chakka Bhadarwah (2) Saqib Sheikh son of Asgar Ali resident of Dandi Bhaderwah & (3) Riaz Ahmed son of Javed Iqbal resident of  Chinote Bhaderwah were involved in drug trafficking besides alluring the other youth to consume as well as supply drugs and were getting them involved in drug addiction. 

Acting upon this alarming information, Police swung into action and a detailed report regarding their involvement in drug addiction as well as involving other youth was prepared by Police and a Police party led by Inspector, Jatinder Singh Rakwal, SHO PS Bhaderwah apprehended these drug peddlers and produced them before the Executive Magistrate Class 1st Bhaderwah where from they were sent to District Jail Bhaderwah under preventive detention.

         Doda Police appeal the general public to cooperate the Police and provide inputs about drug peddling so that the offenders could be brought to books and dealt strictly to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society.
