Sanjay Manhas awarded Bharatiya Ekta Samman award 2022 at SKICC srinagar

Famous political and social activist from chenab valley Sanjay Manhas was awarded Bhartiya Ekta Samman award 2022 at SKICC kashmir in jam packed gathering at the venue. 

Manhas was awarded this year for his outstanding work in social and political field promoting national integration and camaraderie among the communities.it is pertinent to mention here that sanjay had done exampelery work during covid 19 crisis providing ration ration and rehabilitation to the needy and downtrodden section of the society. 

Sanjay has been associated with many philanthropic organizations since his college days and has done tremendous work in the field.He also heads the NGO ANSH which he founded few years back.The foundation is actively involved in social work ,environmental protection, prevention of child abuse,women empowerment and other humanitarian works through its chain of volunteers. 

The function was presided over by Waqf chairperson and MOS Darakshan Andrabi and galaxy of other dignitaries, awardees, press and other people from business community at SKICC. 

The award is given annually to the persons of outstanding performance in different fields.People from every nook and corner have extended their warm wishes and congratulatory messages to Manhas for the award. 

Besides social work ,sanjay is actively involved in politics and recently joined democratic Azad party to carry his social and political campaigns for the welfare of the people.
