Panchayat Secretaries of Doda District frames interim joint District level Association

Today panchayat secretaries of Doda district held a convention at District headquarters Doda and framed the interim Joint District level association comprising of VLWs, MPWs and Gram Sevikas. 

While speaking to the media the President of the association said that this is for the first time a combined cadre of RDD secretaries panchayat association have been framed which were earlier divided, besides the association will work for the respect of the cadre and will highlight the issues at appropriate level, he added

Besides he said that the association also condemn the rude behaviour of some higher official which are showing disrespect to their field functionaries unnecessary and in addition to this also said that the department is pressing hard to the field functionaries to mark their biometric attendance which is illogical due to the fact that one panchayat secretary has more than two panchayats making it difficult to perform their actual duties. 

Lastly he said that in coming times a proper election for the body will be organised and the issue of the cadre will be highlighted.
