In Chirahkot Lolab, the Sarpanch has kept the entire area to light up his house. In pitch darkness, half of the street lights have been installed around his house by the people of the area.

People protested in Chirahkot Lolab Constituency B of North Kashmir's Kupwara district. People said that the Sarpanch of Chirahkot Constituency B has decorated the street lights in his own house said Locals.  35 street lights have been given in Constituency B but Sarpanch Chirahkot B did not distribute these street lights in wards even though Constituency Chirahkot B has 7 Ward and each of the 35 lights used to have 5 street lights in each ward. But the unfortunate knowledge is that the Sarpanch took this street.
