Breach of Road Safety Laws: A Growing Concern  

In today's world, the adherence to rules and regulations seems to fluctuate based on convenience rather than a consistent commitment to safety. Especially during election periods, this laxity becomes more apparent, with road safety laws being blatantly disregarded not only by citizens but also by the authorities tasked with enforcement.

A common sight during election campaigns is bikers zooming past without helmets, often with multiple passengers crammed onto a single bike. This reckless behavior extends to overloaded vehicles, adding to the chaos on our roads. The noise and disorder caused by campaigners further compound these issues, creating an environment where road safety takes a backseat.

The essence of road safety laws should not be limited to sporadic enforcement or exist solely when checkpoints are set up. These regulations must be respected daily, regardless of the political climate. Unfortunately, it seems as though during elections, these laws are treated as mere inconveniences rather than essential guidelines for public safety.

An alarming trend is the prevalence of minors behind the wheel, driving without the necessary experience or maturity to handle the responsibilities of the road. This situation raises serious concerns about the lack of oversight and accountability within our regulatory bodies.

It is disheartening that during election seasons, road safety often becomes an afterthought, conveniently overlooked by those in power. The absence of consistent enforcement sends a message that rules can be bent or ignored depending on the circumstances, undermining the very fabric of our road safety infrastructure.

For genuine change to occur, it is imperative that road safety laws are universally applied and respected, regardless of external factors like election campaigns. This requires a collective effort from citizens, authorities, and policymakers to prioritize safety over convenience, ensuring that our roads remain safe and secure for all.
