Nursing College GMC Doda celebrated the National Nutrition Week 2024 at Govt. Nursing College Doda

Every year the first week of September is celebrated as National nutrition week across the country. Govt. Nursing College GMC Doda also celebrated with great enthusiasm under the guidance of worthy  Principal GMC Doda Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Bahl 
The theme for the National Nutrition Week 2024 is “Nutritious Diets for Everyone”
The week long celebrations observed Eating competition, Speech, Debate competition, Quiz Competition, Health Talk, Cooking and Presentation Competition. 


A Healthy Recipe Competition was conducted on 10th September 2024. The response was encouraging as a total of 41 students of Govt. Nursing College GMC Doda participated in the event very enthusiastically.

By keeping today’s competition theme in mind various handy and delicious recipes were prepared by the students using the concept of “Nutritious Diets for Everyone”. The competition was judged by Dr. Rakesh Bahl, Principal GMC Doda, Dr. Suresh K.Kotwal HOD Community Medicine GMC Doda and Coordinator Govt. Nursing College Doda and Dr. Walied K.Balwan, Academic Registrar GMC Doda. The prizes for commendable efforts were given to Winners and Runner ups of all the tasks and competitions. 

The whole event was Organised  by Faculty of Govt. Nursing College Doda and Dt. Nasir Nabi Batt Dietician GMC and Nodal Officer Eat Right Campus GMC Doda under the supervision of Dr. Suresh K. Kotwal, Coordinator Govt. Nursing College Doda
 
The recipes were delectable and the judges had tough time to zero in on the winners.
