Dr. Mudasir Akbar Shah Extends Eid-ul-Adha Greetings, Emphasizes Message of Sacrifice, Unity, and Compassion
Lolab, June 6: On the sacred occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, Dr. Mudasir Akbar Shah, Constituency Incharge of Lolab for the Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Conference, extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Lolab, the broader region of Jammu & Kashmir, and the entire Ummah across the globe.
In his eloquent and deeply spiritual message, Dr. Shah reflected on the profound meaning of Eid-ul-Adha—not merely as a festival of joy, but as a divine reminder of submission, sacrifice, and service. He invoked the timeless lesson of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), calling it an inspiration for all generations to live with unwavering faith and selfless devotion.
“Let us use this blessed day,” he urged, “to reflect on our duties toward Allah ﷻ, our families, our neighbors, and the larger human family.”
Dr. Shah called upon the community to let this Eid rekindle the light of faith, deepen compassion, and promote brotherhood, peace, and justice. At a time when the world grapples with conflict and division, he encouraged everyone to become ambassadors of harmony, builders of bridges, and a helping hand to the suffering and oppressed, irrespective of caste, creed, or country.
He also emphasized the importance of striving for a society grounded in equity, dignity, and opportunity for all, especially the marginalized, poor, and forgotten.
Concluding his message, Dr. Mudasir Akbar Shah offered prayers for acceptance of sacrifices and guidance for all.
“Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones,” he said. “May Allah (SWT) accept our prayers and lead us on the path of righteousness.”
