Medical Camps Organized at NTPHC Cherakoot also collaborating AAM Potishi Lolab Under Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan

As part of the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan, medical camps were today organized at NTPHC Cherakoot with AAM Potushi (also participating) Lolab. A large number of women and children from surrounding areas attended the camps and benefited from a wide range of healthcare services.

The services included  hemoglobin and blood sugar testing,anemia treatment tuberculosis screening, ENT check-ups, cancer screening, antenatal check-ups for pregnant women, and immunization. Awareness sessions were also conducted on nutrition, obesity prevention, menstrual hygiene, early childhood care, and healthy feeding practices.

The event witnessed the presence of BMO Sogam, officers from the Agriculture Department, and ICDS officers, who actively participated and encouraged the community to take maximum benefits of the ongoing health and wellness campaign.Local residents appreciated this initiative of the Government of India, noting that such efforts are providing essential healthcare access in remote areas of Kupwara district.
