MLA Lolab Qaysar Jamsheed Lone Inaugurates Major Development Projects in Lolab, Including Sogam Sports Stadium and Road Works

Kupwara/Dec/02:> MLA Lolab Qaysar Jamsheed Lone of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) today inaugurated multiple key development projects across Lolab, reaffirming his commitment to upgrading public infrastructure in the region.

At Wani Mohalla Darpora, MLA Qaysar Lone laid the foundation stone for the construction of the road from Jamia Masjid Wani Mohalla to Upper Wani Mohalla, a project sanctioned at a cost of ₹50 lakhs under the UT Sector. The event was held in the presence of the Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Lolab and officers from related departments.

Later, at Sogam, the MLA inaugurated the prestigious Sports Stadium Project, sanctioned at a cost of ₹3 crore under the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council. The foundation stone was formally unveiled in the presence of Sports Council representatives, engineering staff, and local stakeholders.

MLA Qaysar Lone stated that these initiatives mark a significant step forward in strengthening road connectivity, youth sports infrastructure, and overall public facilities in Lolab Valley. He added that more developmental works are already in the pipeline and will be executed in a time-bound manner.

Residents of the area appreciated the MLA’s efforts and welcomed these long-awaited developmental measures.
