Lolab Police Intensify Enforcement on Non-Transferred Vehicles; Comprehensive Checking Drives Conducted Across the Sub-Division

Lolab Police, under the close supervision of DySP PC Lolab, and assisted by SHO Sogam and SHO Lalpora, have intensified a series of vehicle-checking drives across the sub-division to enforce mandatory transfer-of-ownership requirements following the sale or purchase of vehicles.

Dedicated checking teams were positioned at multiple strategic locations, during which several vehicles found operating without valid documentation, without updated ownership particulars, or involved in rash or negligent driving were seized. Appropriate legal proceedings under the relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act have been initiated.

Lolab Police advises all vehicle owners to ensure timely completion of transfer-of-ownership formalities, maintain all requisite documents, and adhere to traffic safety norms. The enforcement campaign shall continue in the coming days as part of ongoing efforts to enhance road safety and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the sub-division.
