Youth Leader Umar Ashraf Extends Greetings on Indian National Congress Foundation Day.

Youth leader Umar Ashraf, also known as Salim Ashraf, extended warm greetings to party workers, leaders, and supporters on the occasion of the Indian National Congress Foundation Day, observed annually on 28 December.

Marking the founding of the Indian National Congress in 1885, Umar Ashraf said the day serves as a reminder of the party’s historic role in India’s freedom struggle and its continued commitment to the values of democracy, secularism, social justice, and inclusive development.

He praised the sacrifices of past leaders and emphasized the importance of youth participation in strengthening democratic institutions and addressing the challenges faced by the nation today.

He further expressed hope that the Congress party would continue to work for unity, equality, and the welfare of all sections of society, while inspiring young leaders to actively contribute to nation-building.
