
Air Conditioners in Several Blocks of SDH Kupwara Found Non-Functional; Medical Superintendent Assures Early Repairs

Kupwara: Air conditioners installed in several blocks of Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara have reportedly become non-functional, causing inconvenience to patients, attendants, doctors, and hospital staff during the ongoing summer heat.
Following the concerns, Today News Line contacted the Medical Superintendent of SDH Kupwara for his response.Speaking to Today News Line, the Medical Superintendent confirmed that while air conditioners have been installed across the hospital, some units in a few blocks have developed technical faults and are currently not functioning. He assured that the issue has already been taken up and that the faulty air conditioners will be repaired within the next one to two days.The matter was also brought to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, and Health Minister Sakina Itoo, both of whom assured that the issue would be addressed on priority and that the faulty air conditioners would be restored at the earliest.
With assurances from the hospital administration, the district administration, and the Health Minister, it is expected that the issue will be resolved within the next couple of days, bringing much-needed relief to patients, attendants, doctors, and healthcare staff at SDH Kupwara..
