SP HQRS DODA VISITED DESSA, HOLDS PCPG AND CRIME REVIEW MEETING AT POLICE STATION DESSA  
 
        With a view to listen the grievances of general public, SP Hqrs Doda,  Sh. Master Popsy-JKPS today on 13th  of October-2022, paid a visit to Dessa  and held a PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group Meeting) there which was attended by prominent persons/ elderly people, PRI functionaries to listen their grievances and issues. 

        The participants while speaking on the occasion, lauded the efforts of police by way of conducting such public outreach programmes in remote areas for listening the issues and grievances of the general public. The participants highlighted many demands and issues of the area. A patient hearing was given by SP Hqrs Doda to their demands and they were assured that their demands pertaining to other departments will be taken up with concerned for appropriate action besides issues related to Police would be resolved on priority. 

   While addressing the participants, SP Hqrs Doda urged upon them to maintain brotherhood, communal harmony and strengthen the hands of Police in eradicating social crime so that peaceful/crime free atmosphere is built up in the area. They were also informed to provide inputs/information to police about smuggling of drugs, bovine, manufacturing of illicit liquor and other illegal activities if any happened for initiating appropriate action under law against the offenders. 

     SP Hqrs Doda also visited Govt. Higher Secondary School Dessa and held  interaction with staff and students of the School. Under operation PATHSHALA a lecture was delivered by SP Hqrs Doda to the students of higher classes wherein the students were made aware about the drug abuse and cyber crime like online cheating, fraud, proper use of Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram  and other Apps on social media. 

     Thereafter, a crime review meeting was also held by SP Hqrs at Police Dessa wherein a threadbare discussion on crime and other allied things of PS Dessa was held with SHO and other investigating officers. Necessary instructions were issued to SHO and other staff /IOs to ensure expeditious disposal of U/I cases, tracing out of missing persons, arrest of absconders, surveillance on suspected persons, smugglers, conducting of Long /Short Range Patrolling besides ensuring  police services to the public to the desired level.  

     All the above events which also includes THANA DIWAS at PS Dessa were organized under the guidance of SSP Doda, Sh. Abdul Qayoom-JKPS. In place to mention here that Doda Police has been organizing number of public outreach programmes to address the issues and demands of general public besides interaction session in various Schools, Colleges and other government under operation PATHSHALA.
