Zonal level Inter-school tournament Under 14/17 Boys and Girls inaugurated at GHSS Boys Bhaderwah

As per the annual calendar of activity 2025-26 approved by the Director Youth Services & Sports J&K (UT).The Department of Youth Services and Sports zone Bhaderwah today organized an inter-school zonal level tournament for Boys and Girls Under 14/17 groups in the discipline of Kho-Kho, Volley Ball, Badminton, Athletic, Football, Tug of War, Youga, Cricket, etc.. The tournament began with Kabaddi,Kho-Kho, Badminton, Carrom, Chess, and athletics competitions held here at Government Girls' Higher Secondary School Boys Bhaderwah, under the overall super vision of District Youth Services & Sports Officer Doda, Pritam singh

ADC Doda Anil Thakur was the Chief Guest while Tehsildar Bhaderwah Kamalpreet Singh was the guest of honour at the opening ceremony. Principal Govt. HSS Boys Bhaderwaha Kapoor Singh, ZPEO Bhaderwah Vijay Kotwal, NCC Commandant Arif Rana,REKs, NYCs and other sports lover were also present. Student’s players drawn from Govt. schools as well as private schools of zone Bhaderwah are participating in this tournaments.

The Tournament declared open by the Kamalpreet Singh Tehsildar Bhaderwah. He also highlighted the benefits of sports activities among the student’s players

The Chief Guest ADC Doda Anil Thakur also interacted with the participants and advised them to make physical exercise, games and sports as their routine in life for overall personality development. He praised the enthusiasm and dedication shown by the students.

The matches were officiated by the trained officials of the department of youth services & sports Deptt. Of zone Bhaderwah.
