Chenab Times Foundation Celebrates First Anniversary, Focuses on Arts, Culture, and Public Grievances

Marking its first year of service, the Chenab Times Foundation (CTF) held a celebratory event in Thathri on Wednesday, February 15, 2024. Established on the same date in 2023, the registered trust dedicates its efforts towards promoting art, culture, and addressing public grievances in the Chenab Valley region.

The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including Sarazi poet Nehri Sadeeq, founder of Voice of Udyanpur Waseem Ahmed Akhoon, and CTF's leadership team comprising Chairperson Maryam Begum, President Anzer Ayoob, Secretary Tahir Bilal, and members Kamran Zargar, Farid Ahmed Naik, and more.

Anzer Ayoob, CTF President, delivered the keynote address, outlining the trust's journey, mission, and the significance of its establishment on February 15, 2023. He elaborated on the achievements made in promoting art and culture and addressing public concerns within the first year. The speech resonated with the need for continued efforts in these areas.

The program featured speeches by eminent personalities like Naeem ul Haq Wani, Farid Ahmed Naik, Nehri Sadeeq, Waseem Ahmed Akhoon, Saqib Zargar, Raja Shakeel, Sulinder Parihar, Raj Kumar, Bilal Bhalessi, Kifytullah Syed, and Saima Fani. This collective voice emphasized the importance of collaboration and dedication in serving the community.
