DODA POLICE ARRESTED  MURDER ACCUSED WITHIN  (4) HOURS  OF THE INCIDENT IN GANDOH AREA 

In a statement , Doda Police said that it was learnt through reliable sources at Police station Gandoh that one Bharov Singh son of  Pawan Kumar resident of  Chouanry Gandoh attacked Ram Krishan son of Nand Lal resident of village Dhosa Gandoh  with an  axe  and committed his murdered on spot. In   this incident one lady namely Anju Devi wife of Chander Parkash resident of Chouanry Gandoh was also injured  severely who was referred to Doda for treatment.

Immediately after the receipt of the information, Shri Adil Hussain, SDPO Gandoh and Inspr Vikram Singh, SHO PS  Gandoh alongwith a Police Party  rushed to the spot  and after hectic efforts and tactfully arrested the accused person from high ridges of forest  area.The accused person while being arrested  got himself injured with the weapon of offence(axe).
     An FIR No 55/2023  under sec 302,307 ,342  has been registered in Police station Gandoh and investigation set into motion.
    Prima facie the incident seems to have happened on some old family disputes  and grudges between two groups.Intitally there were some heated arguments on the dispute of  stones extraction which later led to the incident of murdurious attack. However investigation of the case is  going on  and  the evidence is being  gathered by Police during investigation.
