In several areas of Marmat, the mobile network of Jio and Airtel has reportedly completely collapsed from sevral days, leaving residents without any signal. The total absence of connectivity has caused serious problems for the local population, affecting communication, online services, education, and emergency needs.
Angry residents allege that the company continues to collect money in the name of recharges, but at the ground level no facilities or services are being provided. People say they are paying regularly, yet they are deprived of even basic mobile connectivity, which they term as a clear case of exploitation of consumers.
Due to the network blackout, people are unable to make calls or access the internet, resulting in major inconvenience, especially for students, patients, and working professionals who depend heavily on mobile services.
The residents have strongly appealed to the concerned officials of Jio and Airtel Company to take immediate corrective measures and restore network services in the affected areas. They have also urged the Deputy Commissioner Doda to intervene and direct the company to resolve the issue at the earliest in the larger public interest.
Locals warned to the Jio authorties that if the situation continues and no concrete action is taken, they may be forced to protest against Jio and Airtel Company for its failure to provide promised services despite charging customers regularly.
